Build a weekly newsletter dashboard from HubSpot's marketing email statistics, through the HubSpot connector. It is meant for someone who doesn't code: one file, open it, read it.
When to use
- "How did this week's newsletters do?"
- Recreating the marketing dashboard's Newsletter and Trends tabs from the HubSpot demo
Steps
- Ask which emails count as newsletters (name prefix, campaign or subscription type) and the weeks to cover; default to the last 12 weeks.
- Pull each sent marketing email: name, send date, delivered, opens, clicks, unsubscribes; group by publication.
- Compute open rate and click rate per send and per week, each publication's own 12-week average, and week-over-week change. Totals and averages must match the rows they come from.
- Show: this week's tiles with change vs last week; a per-send table sorted by date with sends under their publication's average marked; a weekly trend chart of open and click rate; a table view under every chart.
- Add a short notes box for what changed this week, in plain words.
- Save one self-contained HTML file: inline CSS and JS, no outside requests, readable on a phone, with "As of" and the source on every card.
Rules
- Read only: never create, update, log or delete anything in HubSpot.
- Use only what HubSpot holds. If a card has no data, leave it out; never guess a name, amount, date or quote.
- Quote people exactly and briefly. Plain words, one line per item, no filler.
